JJ HOCKEY CLUB

INFORMATION

2026 John Jay Hockey

We are members of the HVHSIHA for club ice hockey. Our teams are made up of players from John Jay High School, Roy C. Ketcham High School, Beacon High School, Van Wyck Junior High School and Wappingers Junior High School.

GRADES

Players 8th - 12th grade are eligible to play in the HVHSIHA league.

2013 birth years who are in 7th grade are eligible to play JV this year. Exceptions may be made for 7th grade goalies as well.

SEASON

JJ begins practices in September. The season starts late October and runs until mid-February

GAMES

Teams play 1-2 games per week, usually on the weekends but weekdays games are a possibility this season. Historically, games are usually held Friday, Saturday, or Sunday late afternoon or evening.

Varsity & JV play back to back games.

Games are played at:

McCann Ice Arena
Ice Time Sports Complex
Kiwanis Ice Arena.

TUITION

Tryout Fee: $50. (will be applied to your season fee)

Season Cost: The cost for 2026-2027 season is still TBD until JJ is able to determine our costs & the number of players. As a reference, last season was $1,900 for Varsity & JV.
